How To Lose Weight...

People can tell you everyday that you're fine as you are, that you're not overweight and look great; but if you don't feel comfortable in your own skin then it's pointless. I may not look the weight that I am, but I still feel big and since September I have been on a weight loss journey. It may not sound a lot but in the last four months I have lost a total of 1st 6lbs. Below I will show you a few ways to lose weight without forcing fruits, vegetables and salad down your throat [because I hate these three things]

Join A Slimming Club
If you have a wage, what exactly is £5 a week? I joined Slimming World when I returned from Mexico and already I have made great friends. Sure, people can still follow the plan at home, but if you join a class then you know you're getting weighed weekly and won't feel the need to cheat. To know that people will ask how you done, and the consultant will give you certificates and prizes if you do great, sort of spurs you on. They can help if you don't understand anything too. So to me £5 a week is great, when you know you're guaranteed to lose weight.

Exercise
I'll be honest with you, I don't exercise an awful lot and a big part of this is because I hate people seeing me exercise. The thought of being in a gym with fitness freaks, and me there trying to run on a treadmill actually scares me. They probably won't be paying much attention to me, but I'm shy anyway and I just don't like the idea of this. So, what I do instead is 2-3 times a week, me and my mum will go for an hour and a half walk. It works my legs, which is the part I want to lose more fat from, so this is a bonus - plus it's free!

Get People To Support You
There's nothing worse than being on a diet and members of your family arrive home with a takeaway and you feel deprived and it throws you off track. Try and get people involved if they need to lose weight; or if they're lucky enough to be thin make them eat before coming home - and if need be lie to you what they had for lunch haha!

Fingers crossed I lose that extra one pound this week so I'll get my 1 and a half stone loss certificate! :)
